Rufus grew up in a small town in a family that loved books and movies. He was addicted to genre early on reading Andromeda Strain and Jurassic Park in third-grade and sneaking Stephen King books off of his mom’s shelf. Now all grown up, Rufus is an archivist with an activist bent, writes about Korean Cinema and all sorts of other fun films. He started Paper Spaceships with Shaka, and after realizing writing about film was easier he and James started cineAWESOME!. Now the EIC of cineAWESOME!, and general techie for the site and the podcast, he spends his time archiving, writing, reading and thinking about making movies for his production company Lucid Visions Film. Rufus doesn’t sleep much. He knows everything there is to know about Asian cinema, has lived in Korea, loves comics and video games and is a total nerd. He also lives on the internets.
