Belem, aka Bel, is currently receiving her Master’s in Cinema Studies at NYU, ensuring her that she will always be on the I’m-too-poor-to-eat diet. Her love of all things art landed her a writing gig at an N.C.-based newspaper then to one for a film distribution firm—in addition to a documentary festival. Originally from South Florida, she perpetually gets cold at exactly 75 degrees Fahrenheit but masochistically loves the snow. Her other loves include LOST, all bodies of water, Jane Austen, Chilean cinema, Joe Wright, the theatre and the cinema, Roger Ebert and chapstick.
